Blade & Sorcery: Nomad has no built-in way to detect threats behind you, meaning arrows, spells, and melee attacks from outside your field of view hit without warning. The Sixth Sense mod adds a directional threat indicator HUD that shows colored arrows pointing toward the source of every incoming attack, even from directly behind. Furthermore, an optional slow motion system activates automatically when threats are detected, giving you just enough time to react and counter. Consequently, you gain full spatial awareness of everything around you without removing the challenge of combat itself.

What’s Included

  • Directional melee, magic, and projectile warning indicators pointing at the attack source in real time.
  • Green counter flash confirmation on every successful parry, block, dodge, or deflect.
  • Optional auto slow motion per attack type with configurable time scales.
  • Projectile indicators fade in and grow more opaque as threats get closer, giving an instant urgency read.
  • Full customization: icons, colors, size, spacing, opacity, fade speed, and duration for every indicator independently.
  • Master on/off toggle and per-category toggles for indicators and slow motion independently.

Why You Need This Mod

This mod is useful if you find that off-screen attacks feel unfair, especially in multi-enemy encounters where archers or casters attack from behind while you are engaged in melee. The slow motion option gives you a reaction window without making the game trivial, since it only activates briefly when a threat is actually detected. Additionally, every visual and timing parameter is independently adjustable, so you can strip the mod down to just a minimal awareness aid or build out a full combat HUD.

How to Get Started

  1. Download the SixthSense archive and extract it to your PC.
  2. Place the extracted mod folder into your Blade & Sorcery: Nomad Mods directory.
  3. Launch the game. The HUD activates automatically.
  4. Open the in-game mod menu to adjust all settings including icons, colors, slow motion behavior, and indicator timing per attack type.
  5. To disable the mod entirely without uninstalling, toggle Mod Enabled off in the mod menu. All indicators and slow motion stop immediately.
  6. To uninstall, delete the mod folder from the Mods directory.

Good to Know

  • Supported projectile types include vanilla arrows, thrown weapons, fireballs, flame arrows, and modded content including Outer Rim blaster bolts.
  • The HUD can be hidden independently from threat detection. Slow motion still works with the HUD fully hidden if preferred.
  • Hand, arm, and body movement compensation keeps combat feeling natural during slow motion. Both can be toggled independently.
  • A cooldown between slow motion activations prevents constant triggering on rapid successive hits.
