Storms in Forza Horizon 6 bring thunder but no lightning. The Electrified Skies mod turns on the full lightning system that already sits in the game, then reworks it. It adds no new textures, because everything it uses already ships with the game. Therefore, every storm finally has lightning to go with its thunder.

Installation

Download your preferred variant and extract the archive to your PC.
Next, open your Forza Horizon 6 installation folder.
On Steam, create a mediapc folder there if it is missing. Then place the extracted mod files in Forza Horizon 6/mediapc.
On Xbox, place the files in Forza Horizon 6/Content/mediapc instead, creating mediapc first if it is missing.
Finally, launch the game.
To uninstall, delete the files you placed in the mediapc folder.
