When the skies above Super Earth colonies fill with flying Terminids or Automaton gunships, the M-1000 Maxigun is one of your best suppression tools. However, the default sights can sometimes obscure your target when you are tracking fast-moving airborne threats. The M-1000 Maxigun AA Sights mod replaces the standard optics with a specialized, open-ring Anti-Aircraft reticle. Consequently, you get a much clearer field of view to lead your targets and maintain a relentless stream of sustained, accurate fire.
Main Features

Replaces the default Maxigun sights with a custom Anti-Aircraft reticle designed for tracking aerial targets.
Opens up your peripheral vision while aiming down sights, making it easier to track swarms.
Maintains accurate projectile alignment, so your bullets still land exactly where you are aiming.
Acts as a purely visual client-side replacement, meaning it will not alter weapon stats or affect squadmates.

Additional Details

Requires the HD2ModManager or a similar Helldivers 2 modding tool to install.
As a mesh/texture replacement, it is not compatible with other mods that alter the Maxigun’s physical model (like the triple barrel minigun mod).

How to Install

Download and install the HD2ModManager to prepare your game directory for modding.
Download the M-1000 Maxigun AA Sights mod archive to your computer.
Extract the downloaded archive to a temporary folder or directly into your mod manager’s staging area.
Open the HD2ModManager, click “Add,” and select the extracted mod file to include it in your load order.
Click “Deploy” in the manager, then launch Helldivers 2 to test your new optics.
