Subnautica 2 ships without an accessible developer console, which means you cannot spawn items, test builds, or debug issues the way you could in many other PC games. The Console Commands mod restores that functionality and maps it to a simple in-game menu. Consequently, you can toggle cheats, spawn resources, and experiment with the game world without ever leaving your current save.

How to Get Started

Download the combined archive, which includes both UE4SS for Subnautica 2 and the Console Commands mod.
Locate your Subnautica 2 installation folder and open:
Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Binaries\Win64

Extract the contents of the archive directly into the Win64 folder. This will create a new ue4ss folder and place the necessary UE4SS files there.
Inside Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\, confirm that the ConsoleCommands mod folder is present.
Launch Subnautica 2. If UE4SS is installed correctly, it will initialize automatically when the game starts.
Once in game, press F2 to open the console commands menu and start using cheats or developer commands.
To uninstall, remove the ConsoleCommands folder from ue4ss\Mods\. If you also want to remove UE4SS entirely, delete the ue4ss folder from the Win64 directory.

Good to Know

This package includes a preconfigured UE4SS build specifically for Subnautica 2, so you do not need any external downloads.
If you already have UE4SS installed, back up your existing ue4ss folder before overwriting it with this package. Then copy only the ConsoleCommands mod into your current ue4ss\Mods\ folder.
Console commands can break progression or trivialize survival mechanics. Use them on a separate save if you want to keep a legitimate playthrough intact.
