Nintendo Explains Why Switch Cartridges Taste So Bad

A day after the Nintendo Switch’s launch, it feels like people on social networks are talking less about its unique hybrid capabilities and more about its taste.

A surprisingly large number of people tried to lick/eat the Switch’s cartridge just to discover that it tastes hellishly bad. We are not talking about plastic taste, but rather a super pitter taste which might well be the result of undisclosed nuclear contamination.

Nintendo was quick to clarify that Switch cartridges are deliberately coated with a non-toxic bitterness agent called Denatonium Benzoate in order to prevent kids from swallowing it. We have to admit that we are impressed with Nintendo’s attention to details.
