A truely original concept from start to finish, Breakin' Battle offers competitive, arcade-style breakdancing that tests a player's rhythm as well as his/her dextarity. The game can be most easily thought of as a 2D fighting game, but instead of punching and kicking each other, players pull off moves and combos in an attempt to win over the crowd (sorta like the breakdancing duels back in the 70's and 80's).

Features include:

-Highly realistic animations featuring 9 dance moves, driven by a powerful transition engine that smoothly links them all together.
-Beat detection mechanism that forces the player to stay in rhythm (falling isn't fun).
-Tony Hawk-style combo and scoring system.
-Soundtrack and effects that turn your room into a night club.
-Multiple difficulty levels.

What a cool game!I was hoping somebody would invent a realistic breakin game.Unlike Parapa the Rapper(psone)game.(a dog dancing?) It takes a bit of time to download but,Its worth it.You get to play against you freinds and lern tons of trics!COOL GAME!!!

Hey this game has got loads of potential.Lacks variety of moves but the dancers are done well.Me and my old B Boys had a buzz with it.And would definetly play a more in depth version of Breakin Battle if it was available.Great idea guys

i dl this game and the whole machine crashes.. when i restart machine the computers inputs, ehrm, only the power wire works when i put it into computer, none of the speakers or keyboard or mouses ive tried works, ive tried many, and it was fine before this game i dled. watch out, but it seems it works on some computers, im on another cmoputer now and a friend have dled it without harming anything. i guess the question is: do you feel lucky?

hi,game is great but the textures could be a little bit better :).like that flare is just like something else : the other moves could be a little bit more visual :) but this stays a great game
