Fallout 4 has carried a long-standing engine bug where projected light patterns break, vanish, or shift color whenever you switch light sources. Light Gobo Fix corrects that at the engine level through F4SE. It ships as a native plugin with separate builds for each game version, so there’s no scripting or patching involved. As a result, flashlights, Pip-Boy lights, and Power Armor headlamps finally hold their intended light patterns instead of glitching out.

How to Get Started

Download your preferred variant and extract the archive to your PC.
Install F4SE if you haven’t already, since this mod requires it to run.
Choose Light Gobo Fix – AE if you’re on the current Next-Gen update (game version 1.11.221), or Light Gobo Fix – OG if you’re on the pre-Next-Gen version (game version 1.10.163).
Install the matching file using your preferred mod manager.
Launch the game through F4SE. No additional configuration is required.
To uninstall, remove the mod using your preferred mod manager at any time.

Good to Know
This mod is not available on Bethesda.net, so console players can’t use it. However, PC players on either the Next-Gen update or the older pre-Next-Gen version are both covered, as long as you grab the matching file for your game version.
