GTA: V PC Mods Used To Spy On Users

And there is more news content.
At least 2 GTA: V mods have been confirmed to contain nasty viruses and spyware which logs all user input and hijacks his Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Users at GTAForums have confirmed that Angry Planes and NoClip mods contains a virus which acts as a loader for a group of malware which steals Facebook, Twitter and Messenger credentials and uses them to post spam. The malware also spams Steam and records all user actions and key presses.
Instructions on how to remove said malware is available here.
To our knowledge, this is the first time a game mod was used to deploy a computer virus and malware. It certainly is ironic that this happened with the world’s most notorious crime simulator.
