Phantom Pain Can Be Easier For Players Who “Chicken” Out
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will allow players to pass by security guards nearly unnoticed but only if they – literally – admit to being a chicken.
In a holiday livestream, Phantom Pain director and series creator Hideo Kojima revealed that players that get killed or caught repeatedly will be offered a chicken hat that’ll make guards detect them more slowly when donned. The game should return to normal difficulty once the hat is taken off.
Metal Gear Solid has always been a source of frustration for newcomers. Maybe the chicken hat is the solution they’ve been waiting for.
