Microsoft DirectX is a group of technologies designed to make Windows-based computers an ideal platform for running and displaying applications rich in multimedia elements such as full-color graphics, video, 3D animation, and rich audio. DirectX 9.0 includes security and performance updates, along with many new features across all technologies, which can be accessed by applications using the DirectX 9.0 APIs.

I have problem with my direct x9 due to some games are not compatible so they cannot run under this direct x9. I would like to downgrade this programs but i dont know how to downgrade this. thanks

i have tryed to download the direct x 9.0c and nothing is happining i cant even play rollercoaster tycoon 3 because of this, i need help!!!!! i have tryed for three days and nothing helps even the direct x web page and nothing.

hi im having problems with directx 9.0 everytime I try to play on rollercoaster tycoon three its saying directx 9.0 needed. I have it for sims 2 but it isn't working for this one. can you help me please. I'll be very grateful. thankyou. mike

I just downloaded Medal Of Honor Pacific Assult and when I try to play it it says my video card GeForce4MX420 doesent fully support directX8.1...can I upgrade my card or do I need to buy a new one...PLEASE HELP ME! Ronnie
