Usually, we wouldn't write about a new mouse, but Microsoft's latest "Arc mouse" looks really cool, and -more importantly- this info is technically leaked.
The info and photos were posted on Maximum PC complete with official Microsoft description and all, but a few hours later Microsoft asked them to pull the article off for now.
"Featuring a revolutionary new design shaped like a crescent moon, Arc folds closed to reduce in size by almost half, giving consumers the comfort of a full-sized mouse with the portability of a notebook mouse", reads the official description. "Arc is all about the fashion edge, with a stylish micro transceiver that you can leave right in your computer and it's available in two colors - red or black. It's the perfect gift for the trendsetter on the list".
Microsoft's Arc mouse will be released in the 2008 holiday season for a MSRP of $59.95.

This is obviously just a notebook mouse that extends to full size. That's the only "feature" that this mouse has that makes it stand out. Obviously it's not intended for hard gaming or spreadsheets. My mouse is 2.4 GHz with a zoom in/out switch, clickless wheel that clicks left and right, back and forward buttons, and a magifnify button for spreadsheets. Not all feature packed mice are for gaming.
