Unreal Tournament 3 will be out within days, but Epic has no plans to resurrect the single player branch of the franchise.
In a recent interview, Epic's vice president, Mark Rein was asked about Unreal's future when he revealed that Epic don't have plans for an Unreal 3 single player game and that they are willing to create new IPs (intellectual properties), "but not right now".
Rein also stressed that they will support Unreal Tournament III post-release with "some map packs and so on later".

unreal 1 was bad ass (at the time) then they came out with unreal tournament which was cool, but they KILLED the single player game when they made unreal 2, that was one of the worst games i have ever played.. they totally killed unreal.. they need to make unreal 3 and actually put some effort into it and make it GREAT again.
