The release date for World of Warcraft's next expansion, the Mists of Pandaria, has now been revealed as September 25th.
It will arrive in several different iterations, with a standard edition coming with just the base game - though it can be pre-ordered from Blizzard's site, meaning players can access the game the minute it launches. This version costs $39.99.
The second option is the Digital Deluxe Edition, which will set you back $59.99. It comes complete with an Imperial Quilen flying mount, as well as a Lucky Quilen Club pet. There's also some cross promotion in the form of extras in other Blizzard games, like Starcraft 2. Players of both will receive an infested Orc and Night Elf Templar portrait for Battle.net. Diablo III gets a look in too, with a new sigil and banner accent with Pandaren markings.
The most impressive of the bunch however is the $79.99 Collector's Edition, which comes with everything the Digital Deluxe Edition does, plus a behind the scenes DVD, a soundtrack CD, an art book and a mouse pad with Pandaren, Chen Stormstout on it.
Whatever edition you purchase though, you'll get access to the new Pandaren race and its accompanying starting area, along with a new monk class. The level cap has been raised to 90, meaning there will be some serious grinding in the few days after launch to see who can hit the new top level first.
One other addition is the pet battle system, which will see WoW citizens battling one another's companions in a Pokemon like fashion.

Thanks for posting the release date. Now I know to short sell my Activision stock on September 24th right before it tanks.
Hello
Wow your such a trader, getting info from activision from Megagames instead of actual financial sites. Dude, do not kid yourself, stop trying to sound badass or whatever, you barely have a penny to invest.
