If you've been wondering for a while now what the sea based arm of Wargaming's "World of" franchise is going to look like, then do so no longer, as we have our first gameplay trailer, taken entirely in engine and showing a mix of small escort planes, giant battleship, torpedo boats and more.
The game puts you in control of a giant aircraft carrier or warship with up to 32 players on each side engaging in combat on the open ocean and closer to the shore, giving you more to worry about than just shooting your enemy - you have to make sure you don't run aground too.
The game features a zoomed out, 5th person perspective, as well as a tactical overlay for planning actions with your fellow captains and has been relatively well received throughout its alpha and current beta testing.
World of Warships is set for release in the first quarter of 2015.
