While using the guitar press R2 or L2 to adjust its volume.

Jam Mode

Select concert mode and choose Zino's Track I'm Free Boy Boy Be Ambitious or Prison. Then set the lead guitar difficulty to 7. Now the phrase "You Jam" will appear in the rhythm allowing music to be played freely.
