Prince of Persia: Warrior Within Demo

One knows that modern life is not cheap, but we require cash for various stuff and not every man earns big sums money. Thus to receive some loans and just sba loan would be a proper way out.

ok i just want to say that Splinter Cell 2 wasn't all that big a hit because there was not much new stuff. I think Ubisft learnt from it's mistakes and is focussing more on the fighting. if any has seen the FFF tree that you can download at the web page then you'll see the number of new moves.

I loved sands of time - played through it 3+ times. This though..? The graphics are nice, but it kinda looks like the 1001 other dungeons out there. And the music has gone from magic to doom 1.Combat was cool enough, but I seemed to be loosing my second weapon every now and then - wondering why my combos didn't work - just to find out it's cuz I'm not wielding two swords any more. Do mobiles disarm? Also, I wish they hadn't made the camera sticky on the enemies. It's a hassle to do the moves you want when there's like this giant gravity from every enemy you pass. And my camera constantly got stuck in walls and pillars, tugging at you, then suddenly letting go spinning you 720 degrees before you can try to get your bearings....And then you end up with the bugged golem. Ah well.I hope at least the story is as good as in the sands of time. I loved the story / love story (and as a female player I highly enjoyed that little strip-tease the prince was doing (sue me :P) ).If this is yet another all-serious, non-humorous hack-and-slash I'm gonna scream. (So few games this year with a really cool, original story *sniffle*)

Well i like it so far the first one was exellent. This is onli a demo so the full version will lay down the final word about it. The music is actual music thank god... i hate rap i think theres no talent in it. But onto the game hopefully the full will be everything that the last one was and better.

uhm is there anything to do in this demo? i hacked my way through 50 or 60 monsters (only 2 different types there) and nothing happens... does there ever happen anything else? must be the most boring demo in history. and the biggest at that. ugh.

To Naujoks you got to proform all the attacks it tells you to. Theres quite a few more in this game single and duel weilding random weapons and its better cause you no longer have to do that use the annoying sand dagger stab to finish zombies off.

You can't be serious... the soundtrack is crappy metal rock now? What happened to the atmosphere of the first game? This is supposed to be Persia, not Boston in 1993.

I'd say this has to be one of the best single player platform game ever, i'm not a platform game and the only platform game i've played before prince of persia sands of time is ape escape, warrior within demo is awesome, and i recommend u buying it at the shops. This game works fine on my comp on everything setted as high. It has mad graphics and great gameplay. Download the demo!

Well I'm playn the demo - sure the game won't save - and when i get to play 10 min or something like that i get up with error that the game has ended unexpected or something like that - THIS GAME ROCKKKKKKSSSSSS

this game is great, a couple of bugs with the demo but besides that its a great game to play, over 300 people downloaded it already, why arent u!

This game looks pretty nice. The camera controls for the PC version need a little bit of tweaking, but otherwise it plays amazingly.I played the xbox version (still a demo) at the Ubisoft Campus Tour, and the controls are much smoother there.In any case, this looks like it's turning out to be another great game.

Bad Music, not very nice graphics, CRAPPY voice-overs, Kill kill kill gameplay, no atmosphere. Pretty lousy game. Definitly another annoying console port :(

Three words : Beat em up, this game sucks. There is no way in hell that this game can compete with Sands of Time. If you ask me they should of just released this for consoles only. If your a console button pressing gamer you'll love this.

They mess up the sand prince style hes more like sinbad the sailor now.

True, the demo is VERY buggy (unpassable for me, since the Golem goes to a corner after a few seconds and his action class just drops out, so does his AI), the formula is totally different. Ubi decided to turn the greatest fall-out of Sands of Time to a the main point in Warrior Within. They actually blended battle and puzzles, notice that once you kill an enemy he doesnt hide his sword. You can bash the monsters using spikes instead of killing them one by one. The battle system itself IS awesome. I love the soundtrack, what band is that playing in the main menu (i REALLY recall hearing them in the radio MANY times with some hit song... listen more that 10 secs and youll hear the vocal). The PC version is NOT a mere port. Notice the PS2 cant do AntiAlisaing, Normal mapping(shine floors) and motion blending (look closely at your sword when you strike it), and other pixel shader speccific stuff. This will only be in the Xbox and PC (no info abuot gamecube, but i think the hardware WILL suffice). So this time no PS2 == PC :). You should REALLY give this one a try. Oh, and for ppl that complain about having unlimited monsters on the first part of the ship: at the beggining on the lower hand of the screen you have a TUTORIAL. IT gives you instructions about what combos do you have to make. You MUST do ALL that it tells youy, unless it will not let you progress. After you see a fiend fighting a sailor on a birds nest, the sailor falls breaking the floor and so on, youll be on your own, so its allways like this. Enjoy :)

I spent about 2 hours to download this game that was over 400mb and spent about 15 minutes to finish it! it contains only 2 levels!!!that sucks. I believe it could be all fit in only 100 mb!the music sucks, I agree, and the enviroments in prince of persia - sands of time were much more splendid and impressing. it was frustrating to me. I expected much more from this game.

Movi, this is a mere port. Every port, like Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance, have antaliasing options and other tweaks to improve the graphics. That's standerd. just because it has those tweaks doesn't mean it's not a port. And battle system IS pretty crappy. Thank god different people have different tastes.

the graphics look much crappier than sands of time but it's just that i have a ps2 and a pc and own the game for both cause my graphics card can't handle it. They might have got a few complaints. Plus i and most of the people i know like to play any game on Pc than any console

i'm the same guy as downwe have only played 2 levels and it's doesn't seem all that good though "hoppefully" soem body would steal the codes and they would fix those gltches and maybe even change the whole graphics engine. If that's what the steal.

My god! Listen to all of you!! I have one thing to say, ITS A GODDAMNED DEMO!!!!! so stop your ******** and wait for the real thing to come out. This is Ubisoft we are talking about here. You know? the ones who made Splinter Cell 1 & 2, POP: Sands of Time? Any of this ringing a bell? these people are like the gods of great games.

Anonymous: I realise that ive forgot to split some points there: What i was talking about are the per-pixel effects like normal mapping and glare. It IS a demo, but it shows the formula of the game, not much will change. It WILL be a fight-fight game. I dont know why are ppl complaining about the graphics? Maybe the goldish-yellowish color scheme was more pleasing to your eyes.. Now ive gotta say the SOUND system needs a LOT of work. Oh, and Godsmack rulez :)
