DONT DOWNLOAD THIS ****** GAME IT'S REALLY NOT WORTH IT.

Download the game, it's worth every byte... Sure, graphics & sound are crappy (published in the early 90's), but it is still a very accurate sim of the B-17 bomber used in WWII.

This version is better then the b17 version 2 by a long mile for playability. sure the grfx are dated but still fun.

it was an attempt to be revolutionary in a time where there was not the reasources to make it good. the programers did a good job but i can see why it didn't sell while retail

if the password gives you a b as first letter it is bomb you reset it a couple of times you will get to it but i wouldn't waste me time with this game

i Downloaded this game but when I came to play it I was 'stuffed' by the protection. I don't seem to have the manual ? Should it be in the zip file ?

Is Bomb-Away.net is down or what? I have scourged the Internet for the **** manual to get past the protection, but I did finally find it.. It's at [url removed] you need to do is just click on DOS, and then go to search, and type in b-17, there's at least four files in there.. Now if only I could find a key-template to find out the commands...

Ok.... I already download the f***n manual from bombs-away.net.... butit only has 73 pages and the program ask me for some word in the 100 page or more!!!!!Im getting tired of this s******t

OK guys calm down, if you try [url removed] you can download a crack for this game that will bypass the password. I've used the crack and the game plays fine, graphics arn't brill but its playable

this game was released in about 1997, so its not supposed to be great by todays standards. This was the first B17. B17 flying fortress the mighty eighth was released in 2000 and yes it does rock.

To play without protection- open B17.exe in a hex editor program and change address location 0003D1FA from 9A to EB and location 0003D1FB from 8E to 03.
