3D Shooter Controller Ready at E3

MonsterGecko will introduce its first high-performance controller designed and styled specifically for 3D first person shooter games next month at E3 Expo 2004 at the Los Angeles Convention Center on May 12-14.

While first person shooter video games have been one of the hottest selling PC game categories, gamers are primarily using standard keyboards and mice to play them. For serious gamers, nothing has been a suitable replacement for this combination. MonsterGecko's products are designed to provide gamers with a unique competitive advantage in both single-player and multi-player environments over a regular mouse and keyboard.

One of the key reasons gamers who play 3D shooters haven't moved to joysticks and gamepads is that they don't have the resolution needed for these games, said Ain McKendrick, Co-Founder and CEO of MonsterGecko. Our goal was to design a controller that maintains the precision of a high-resolution optical device, combined with the ergonomics and styling to match the games being played.

MonsterGecko's products are designed for either left or right-handed players and are compatible with Windows PC and Macintosh platforms. Additional product information from MonsterGecko will be made available at E3 Expo 2004.
