Apart from having to walk around a lot, Pokémon Go doesn't really require that much skill. Perhaps one of the few skills required to play is having to aim and swipe your finger to throw Pokéballs at the cute monsters. Naturally, someone has found a clever way to cheat his way through it.

In order to catch a Pokémon in Pokémon Go, you have to flick your finger in a perfectly straight line towards it, or else the throw would curve to the side and miss it. Instead of practicing this simple move, Jon Clever 3D-printed a phone cover that would guide his finger while aiming.

Clever's Pokéball Aimer is designed to fit an iPhone 6, but surely it is no big deal to resize it to fit any phone. The cover obscures a good part of the screen, leaving only cut-outs for the on-screen controls, the finger's trench and a Pokéball-shaped window to see the Pokémon you're catching. In practice, you'll have to don the aimer cover only while catching Pokémon and remove it in order to be able to play the rest of the game. It might be imperfect, but we're sure a lot of players would put up with that little annoyance in order to make sure all their throws are hits.
