According to digitimes, GeForce 9 is on track for a February 2008 release date.
Nvidia's original plans was to launch high end GeForce 9 card in December 2007 and follow it up with mainstream GeForce 9 cards in Q1 and Q2 2008. The lack of competition for GeForce 8 meant that Nvidia had no reason to stick with this plan.
As usual, Nvidia refused to comment on digitimes' report and dismissed it as a rumor.
