It's been over a year and a half since creators of Amnesia Dark Descent, Frictional Games, creeped us all out with those SCP-like videos based in its SOMA universe, machines that think they're people and a strange, world where it's not exactly clear if even our protagonist is as human as they think they are.
That doesn't mean the game has disappeared though, as it's just reared its bizarre head from the murky blackness and begun creeping us out again, with a few cryptic tweets and a new video that's just as strange as what we've seen before.
Apparently in space, no one can hear you cry while watching whales dance.
However within the video's description is a crossword-style URL, with a few letters missing. When they're plugged in, it takes interested parties to: somagame.com/YuXIm5/pathos2_cnsl/, which features a terminal which has some little insights into the upcoming survival experience.
There you'll find a terminal running PathOS, which seems to behave much like DOS systems of old, for those of you who can remember the commands. You may need some login info and persistence however, much of which can be found here. There you'll find currently collated information on the game's ARG. It's quite extensive.
SOMA began its beta testing phase in April and will launch worldwide later in 2015.
