Stop Timer for Windows 95/98
Begin a new game click the left mouse button once then click it again and hold it. Now hold the right mouse button and press Esc. The timer is now stopped so let go of the buttons.
Show Mines for Windows 3.x
Place the mouse over the Minesweeper field and press Shift Shift xyzzy Shift Shift. A single pixel will indicate whether or not the cursor is over a mine.
