Game Cheats:
Unlock Archers:
When you complete the following tasks the corresponding archer will become unlocked.
Prancing Puppet (Cyan):
Complete the Sunken City level in Story mode.
Vicious Vessel (Purple):
Play Versus mode on the Twilight Spire level until a random event occurs (use the Turncloak Soldier or Last of the Order character to trigger it).
Ancient Exile (White):
Unlock and play the Moonstage level and break the purple crystal that contains Ancient Exile (play multiple rounds to make it appear).
Forgotten Master (Yellow):
Collect ALL seven yellow gems hidden throughout the levels in Trial mode. Now go to Tower Forge 2 and below the first dummy you see on the right. Then aim down and run.
Unlock Bonus Levels:
Complete the following tasks to unlock the corresponding level.
Gauntlet:
Complete the Ascension level.
Towerforge:
Completing the King's Court level in Quest mode.
Moonstone:
Play every default level once, then play the Sacred Ground level in Versus mode until it becomes unlocked.
Sunken City:
Select Versus mode, then choose the 'Random' option when selecting a level. Keep repeating this until it randomly appears.
Ancient Exile Characters with Hair Down:
You can choose to play as Ancient Exile players with their hair down by holding down the Left trigger while selecting an Ancient Exile character.
Unlock Ascension Level:
Select 'Archives' at the 'Main' menu once you have unlocked ALL three bonus levels and change the page to 'Ascension'. Then press Right, Up, Left, Right(2), Down(2), Up, Down.
Master Code:
At the 'Credits' screen press Left, Right, L2, R2, Up(2), Down, Left, R2, X to unlock ALL quest levels, the four archers, the four hidden towers, and the Gunn Style variant.
General Tips
Catching arrows is perhaps the most important thing in TowerFall. If you can master that, you can beat anyone. It's even possible to catch multiple arrows at once with perfect timing.
Be careful when opening treasure chests, there may be a bomb inside!
Remember that levels wrap around. Shooting an arrow to the left of the map to target someone on the right side always proves satisfying.
Spamming arrows can be a valid strategy in certain situations, though it may upset your opponent...
Remember to jump on opponents' heads, especially if you run out of arrows.
When time runs short and the walls start caving in, use that to your advantage. Your opponent may be distracted, which is a great time to be more aggressive.
Laser arrows can be very dangerous – be sure not to accidentally kill yourself.
Holding the shoot button allows you to aim your arrows, so use it often.
Don't use special arrows haphazardly. Wait for the perfect opportunity to use them, even if it means being less aggressive. Wasting a perfectly good bomb arrow is a terrible thing.
We all love shiny treasure chests, but don't let your guard down. Your opponent also knows your intentions and may be waiting to target you when you head for the bait.

Battle Stenography (Silver): Earn every award in Versus mode.
Tall Tales (Bronze): Play 1,000 rounds of Versus mode.
Massive Mythology (Bronze): Play 20,000 rounds of Versus mode.
Thief's Badge (Bronze): Beat 30 diamond times in Trials mode.
Time Lord (Silver): Complete all 36 stages in Trials mode, with a total best time of under 2 minutes.
Way of the Order (Bronze): Complete the first 3 towers of Quest mode.
Rapture (Silver): Complete Ascension in Quest mode.
Crimson Shield (Bronze): Earn 8 red skulls in Quest mode.
Golden Goddess (Silver): Earn 14 red skulls in Quest mode.
