The original Dishonored was all about choice. Using the multitude of tools and skills at their disposal, players were able to slip stealthily past their foes, kill them and dispose of their bodies while remaining undetected or fight their way to the objective.
The upcoming Dishonored 2 intends to offer an even greater level of freedom with its twin protagonists Corvo and Emily. The duo are equipped with a set of powerful skills that can be used to turn the tide of any battle when used creatively.
A novice player might take advantage of Corvo's time stop ability to kill and enemy or two, but a more creative player might get rid of a whole squad by sticking a "Springrazor" mine to a time-frozen enemy then hurl him towards his comrades using the "Blink Assault" ability. Similarly, Emily is able to link the fates of several enemies to her shadow clone then hurl the clone off a cliff and watch her enemies follow it to a ragdoll death.
In order to showcase the game's cleverness, Bethesda put together a "creative deaths" video that showcases some of the game's power ups and how they can be combined for devastating results.
Dishonored 2 is scheduled for release on November 11th, 2016 on Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. We are quite sure fans will post more impressive creative deaths videos then.
