Microsoft Confirms Halo Bootcamp Following Korean Info Leak

After news about it got leaked through the Korean ratings authority, Microsoft confirmed the existence of a Halo-related project named "Bootcamp."

"What's Bootcamp? It is not related to our Xbox One efforts, or the Reclaimer Saga, but rather a project we're very enthusiastic about and will have more to say about in the near future," a Microsoft representative confirmed.

The "Reclaimer Saga" is the second Halo trilogy that expected to continue on Xbox One.

Unfortunately, the only piece of info regarding Bootcamp is the Korean rating filing submitted by Microsoft. Problem is, it is written in Korean and we couldn’t reach a Korean translator to translate it. However, using Bing Translate ad Google Translate, it became quite clear that Bootcamp is a third person action adventure game.

Bing translation of the page reads as follows:

"‘Halo’ as a third-person point of view based on the worldview of the mission is going to be executing an action game of water.

Minor violence representation (expressed as mere weaponry, attacks and a third-person point-of-blood description).

Thus, article 21 of the law on the promotion of the game industry and the provisions of article 9, paragraph 3, classified according to the classification as a ‘ 15 ‘ decision."
