Wow, Mortal Kombat 4’s endings were really bad

The little ending cut scenes on fighting games are an important part of the genre’s tradition. They’re rarely amazing, but can tie up the “story'” or lack there-of nicely and at least give you something to aim for when battling through stage after stage of opponents.

Not every game does them even passably well however. While the latest Mortal Kombat X might have a solid roster of endings, it’s predecessor MK4 certainly did not.

Yes Jax, don’t drop him into the blue nothingness of poor draw distances.

Oh, is that the only prize he gets? At least the CGI here is a little more impressive.

These guys run more weirdly than the girl in Taken….
