Gran Turismo 7 to apologize for microtransactions with free rewards

Following a severe negative reaction to the microtransactions within Gran Turismo 7, anyone playing the game over the next month will receive a free one million credits to spend within the game. It accompanies an apology from Polyphony present, Kazunori Yamauchi, who thanked the community for supporting the game, but made it clear that he has listened to their feedback on the recent changes to the game's monetization policies, and would make further changes moving forward.

GT7 launched to much acclaim, as most GT games do, but a recent patch overhauled the monetary earnings in game and gamers weren't happy with it. To address that, this reward will be given out, and the game will be changed again, to better accommodate players' wishes.

It will increase rewards on World Circuits by up to 100%.
Add new high rewards for clearing Circuit Experiences.
Increase rewards in online races.
Add eight new one-hour Endurance Race events to missions with higher reward settings.
Increase the upper limit of credits in wallets from 20 million to 100 million.
Increase the number of used and legend cards that are available at any one time.

It's not yet clear when the above changes will be applied, but since they're just moving around a few numbers for the most part, it shouldn't take long.

Will these changes and the free reward be enough to assuage your concerns over the game's practices?
