FCC Filing Reveals PSP-3001

Documents filed at the Federal Communications Commission confirmed that Sony is preparing a new PSP model for release: the PSP-3001.

Information revealed so far doesn't indicate any changes to the layout and functionality of current PSP, but earlier interviews with Sony officials suggested that they are concentrating on (1)reducing PSP manufacturing costs, (2)making it harder to pirate and (3)increasing its storage space.
