Total Immersion Racing is a driving game with an emphasis on the highest quality driving technology linked to compelling and immersive gameplay. The player can choose a career path that leads from being the lowest ranked driver of a GT sports car all the way to becoming a world champion driving a massively powerful 8-litre prototype.
What really separates this game from the pack is the other drivers that are passed on the track to victory. Total Immersion Racing pits the player against a posse of other drivers, all with their own unique personalities, driving styles, and responses to the way the player chooses to play the game. An advanced AI system has been created to ensure that every action of the player at the wheel is balanced by an appropriate reaction of the drivers that are nearby. A player that shuts the door on other drivers at every corner will learn that their attitude may come back to bite them. Motor racing drivers have a long memory.

with all the hype that the west brothers had placed on this game back when i was playing grand prix legends.... i have to say that comments i have heard and read leave me in dispair. I will d/l it myself.... if there are no further posts here by me assume that it sucked really bad.Greg

Wouldn't advise you kids to download this trash. Tried it right after the previous demo Rally from Microsoft. Well never thought a driving game can be so bad. This total immersion is just a trick to get ppl to buy it. I won't get into details about graphics, cars and tracks - i simply dont care about it, when I get ABSOLUTELY *sloppy* and pathetic control - laggy (they want THAT to feel like read life?? well HELL, i dont get lag like that when i drive my car in real life, not even at higher speeds.Total driving uncomfortability. Im not sure how it goes with the wheel, i only tried with kboard, but still - it has to be good either way anyhow - like Microsoft's Rally - go get it, it's really nice.

I tried this demo last night.- Graphics are good- Speed is good- Gameplay is badUnfortunatly, this game is bland, unrealistic, and not even fun to play.Try bumping into the computer cars, and they wont move, no car damage, trees look cutout, and does nothing to immerse you in the game.Overall very disappointing.

Someone had problems starting the demo? When i start it shows first page then it crashes on desktop. I have a Geforce2 Mx, latest drivers, directx 8.1b, 192MB ram. This is the only game i ever had problem... Help me!
