ArmA: Armed Assault - MP Demo

Graphics look interesting,,, gonna have to put it on my bro's Pc thou,, mine ain't gonna run it ha ha ha. Were the previous games by these guys any good?

@skippyYeah, Operation Flashpoint Kicks some serious @ss.As for ArmA, I can't wait till I get my hands on it! ^^ It looks freaking awesome! I wonder how the change of setting will influence the game.

It only gets middling reviews such as 70% and stuff, but I'm still getting it as I love OPFP its one of the most atmospheric games everSorry about punctuation it messes up megagames and stops me from posting for some reason

I am thoughrouly disapointed in the multiplayer im rarely able to join a server it has tons of glitches. eek i love operation flash point but this doesnt seem to bring anything new to the table other than worse graphics a more clumsy user interface, bugs and poor AIim still going to get it though, cuz i know ill at least have lots of OPF funtime goodness

when are gamemakers going to realize there is more to life then making shootemup games 247? life is not all guns and bullets, there is also other types of entertainment. i myself am sick to my gut because every thing released nowadays is practically the same. it takes no talent to make these, and they are made almost instantly, but there are a few of us that like other types of games,management etc, etc, instead of all this constant killing and blood i think the people who program and make these just for big bucks should consider seeing a pshyciatrist!!

I dont think you really seem to understand a few things about life and the human condition, let alone the gaming industry. But yeah, maybe you should go see a psychiatrist.

I agree that mindless shoot em ups don't really further our educations but neither do they really harm our mental states as much as those below seem to suggest. In any case this game is a SIMULATION and not a mind numbing killing spree arcade game. This game takes some level of tactics like those employed in real life military situations. And there are hardly no games like this one. The other basically being Operation Flashpoint which this is practically the sequal to.

Flashpoint was excellent - especially for those with brain cells.. Can't wait to see how true the guys have been in this sequel.

if you all had at least 1 brain cell left you would be dangerous. thankfully you probably have less, killing is still killing !!

I have a 9800 pro and this game doesnt run decently even on the lowest setting

Elio, i take that back.The game runs like crap on my new rig too so keep your 9800pro mate.Whats up with these guys when they cant optimise there engine to run at more than 15 fps on my rig when im getting 100 fps on the likes of BF2 maxed out @ 1280 x1024?

is ARMA using starforce?? in that case i suggest noone ever installs this game.. i loved operation flashpoint and this game probably is great too... but no game can ever be good enough to install starforce >.<

Now thats what I'm talking about. Flashpoint was gorgeous, and Armed Assault looks like a worthy successor. Well done folks. Trying the demo right away, and won't remove my eyes from it until it hits the shelves.
