When someone kills you in a multiplayer match if you hold down L and press R very lightly you should start again with your lightsaber off. It takes a while to do but I was able to do it.
lose your lightsaberwhen your on a lift throw your lightsaber as you go up if you time it right it wont come back look under the lift to find it and it will be off
