It seems that the next Tomb Raider game will have multiplayer components for the first time in the series.
The news was revealed unintentionally through British retailer GAME, which listed multiplayer as a key feature in the new Tomb Raider. More specifically, the retailer’s website stated that Tomb Raider players will be able to "play a variety of multiplayer modes as Lara's Shipmates or Yamatai's Scavengers."
The description was removed shortly after it was posted, but not before we noticed it.
A video released by Square Enix a few weeks ago promised to reveal a "special secret announcement" that would "change the way you play Tomb Raider forever." Multiplayer Tomb Raider looks like a legit candidate for that position. Doesn’t it?
