In response to Intel's price cuts early last week, AMD, are slashing their prices too.
The new price list announced is :
1.2GHz - $254
1.1GHz - $223
1.0GHz - $179
950MHz - $161
900MHz - $143
850MHz - $125
800MHz - $110
750MHz - $95
700MHz - $85.
The price of the Duron's will also change. The 800MHz processor will cost $79, the 750MHz $65 and the 700MHz, $55.
It really looks like AMD have managed to change Intel's pricing policies and by the look of things, will continue to do so.

AMD Slashes Prices
Submitted by MR.Reality (not verified) onI think that Intels still #1 because even though they made a mistake with their chip doesn't mean their going to pack it up and hand their keys to the building over to AMD. Come on lets get real. If you can recall Microsoft making a few boo boos with windows 2000 but people still buy it. Why, because its new technology thats why. New technology=good, old technology=bad.
