X-Isle: Dinosaur Island educates the player about the wonderful world of dinosaurs. Leveraging the OpenGL-driven CryENGINE and the GeForce3 nfiniteFX engine to create a Jurassic Park-like environment rendered in real-time, X-Isle: Dinosaur Island leverages the power of the GeForce3 to highlight the most advanced 3D, real-time graphics ever seen in educational software.

Environmental Bump-Mapping on Sun-Reflection

This Demo shows new cutting-edge 3D-Features such as extremely-high
poly count (whole Isle consists of 40+ Mio Polygons), pixel and vertex shaders,
realtime reflections and refractions, 16-Bit bump-mapping and ones more
vast detailed Landscapes based on OpenGL 1.2 (with specific nVIDIA Extensions)
and CryENGINE. CryENGINE has been optimized for GeForce 3 Cards in this Demo.
X-Isle: Dinosaur Island doesnt show the gameplay or design of X-Isle (our FPS Game)
but rather shows the engine-power of it.

i have a f**kin GeForce 2 GTS 64 mb DDr, what the hell, no one has a GeForce 3, why r they makiking a game optimized for it, so what, like 5 ppl can enjoy it? it better run well. i didnt pay $300 for an old card.

U have to have a Gf1 2 or 3 it will not work on any other card (gay) i have a TNT2 Ultra and it will beat any GF card. that is just cheap that it will only run on Gf cards most prob reason is that the TNT cards are too good for the market and thay just want to phase them out this just sux

Im Getting a new system with a geforce 3 for about $1800 with a pentium 4 1.7ghz and ageforce 3 with 256 ram. Its a very good deal, but im not gonna tell you where i got it from. Anyway, i just wnated to say that i saw GEFORCE 3 for $300 on SALE at BEST BUY in chicago, illinois, thats right ONLY 300!

dude...pentium 4's are the worst processors ever, don't waste your maony. Get an AMD 1.33 Ghz. it may sound slower but i guarantee that from personal expirence...the AMD will kill the P4

I downloaded the march demo release from Crytek, but this demo won't download. Only 4.5 k of the 43 Mb will download for some reason.From what I've seen of the older demo, this is one awesome game.
