This game is so sweet, it reminded me of playing baldurs gate 2 with 1 character, but in first person. Its just plain mad, cant wait til its released.

Well it's all well until the Fishtank Studios video isn't finished...when it is...the logo comes up and it freezes...It's probably my shitty system...wtf are the min. reqs for this shit?

Arx FatalistIs a good demo, but not great.It's feels like a tribute to old Dungeon games on the Amiga and early VGA PC: Dungeon Master and Ultima Underworlds.Character modeling and animation is excellent. environment is rendered in average detail--kind of a letdown.Takes awhile to get used to complex controls (i.e., magic, weapon, inventory, & free-look)Voice-acting is better than your usual 3D-scrolly.....150 megs to download; worth it, if you've got cable/dsl/T-1To the previous poster:I'm not sure what min. system specs are, but I ran the game on an older PIII-733, 32-meg Geforce2 card and it ran pretty smooth @ 640x480/32bit color.No problems during the "Fishtank Studios" animation....The fish smacks into the front glass, that's it. From there, the program launches into an opening 3D sequence (intro story and plot establishment). Check your version of installed Direct X, make sure it's v8.1a

Fairly large download for a fairly short demo. The graphics and play remind me of a cross between Theif and that "Blade/Severence" demo.The controls are not intuitive and the crashing every time you change levels is way annoying!
