The Inquirer conducted an impressive sum of 28 tests, benchmarking Nvidia's upcoming monster to its current flagship GPU, the GeForce 9800 GTX; and here is what they found:

AA looks better, but I find with my 8800 SLI that resolution has less effect, because you need to hit 4-8 AA to get the same effect, if your on 4 AA then its about the same hit or less then a jump in res, but 8 is much slower. of course I haven't tested this, just, more what I've noticed

Downside to seeing a brand new card, is seeing my empty wallet from the last.Matter of fact, I like running my games at 2800x1650.It's usually pretty laggy.. but that doesn't mean I don't smile.Makes me feel fuzzy inside to know I'm wasting my time at a MASSIVE level. xD

this year will definately be AMD/ATI's!Their new cards are incredible. How they have managed to keep the cost so low ($299 for the top end and $199 for the medium - which still beats the 8800GTX) is incredible.Too bad I've sold my PC and moved onto console gaming (because I was pissed off with high GPU costs lol!).
