Surfing to the extreme, Championship SurferTM uses a true 3D wave generation engine to produce realistic waves that swell, curl and break just like the real thing and all beautifully rendered in realtime on your PC, Dreamcast or PlayStation.
In addition to this awesome technology, Championship Surfer uses a real world physics control system, to accurately duplicate the movements of surfers and their boards on the wave. In Championship Surfer you'll be able to perform up to 50 tricks just like today's champion surfers.

Championship Surfer Demo
You can't make surfing into a viable game just like you can't make track and field into a viable game (unless you have it on the NES with the floor pad). It's just too simple if you don't have to actually balance. Perhaps there can be a surfing mini-game in a game like GTA but that's it, not a full game.
