Consoles SUCK thats why i play FPS games on PC now. I use to be a hardcore console gamer, i had an Atari, Nintendo, Sega geneses, PS, and like 3 different gameboys and when i was introduced to online games on PC i never turned back to the shitty consoles

BTW MGS is shit compared to Splinter Cell! Splinter Cell got more graphics better AI, weapons and everything else you could think about.Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow will also be multiplayer player. i would love to see any MGS beat that any day!

Yea, i agree fps games are better on PC. That's why MGS is better on consoles NOT a PC! Some games are meant to be played on consoles. Oh and have you tried SOCOM multiplayer on PS2? Beats most of PC's online FPS games!

all I can say is you won't find Fat, Bald men on roller-blades, making you battle him in mini-game type fashion in Splinter-Cell :)

f*** all the console gamers out there, all the new pc games have good graphics and the graphics depend on your graphic card not on the game i guess that no one here heard about something called antialiasing which is used by high end graphic cards (300$+) which which makes the graphics in pc's better than any console so f*** all the console gamers who cant afford a high end graphic card and say that console graphics are better

It was a great game on PS1 and it looks like it will be just as good if not better as a remake, cant wait to play it.

when it comes to gameplay SPLINTER CELL OwnZ metal gear, 1st of all theres no re spawning of enemies2nd SAM FISHER has more awsome moves. if you saw the E3 demo of the ingame movements by SAM FISHER on pandora tomorrow, you wont evenmention metal gear again.

Dont compare splinter cell and MGS...they are both coming to gamecube....that means we get TWO good games ok? no need to flame war....I REPEAT TWO GOOD GAMES!

metal gear solid is a genre defining title and a masterpiece...syphon filter copied metal gear solid ideas to make a semi original title and a great gamemetal gear solid 2 used some ideas from syphon filter and syphon filter 2/3 used ideas from metal gearsplinter cell is just a cheap hybrid of both those games and my arse their AI is better the enemies never miss!!! so if ur discovered dont bother fighting cos they'll kill you wheres the action??? it takes too long for sam fisher to pull out his damn gun, the boss battles (like grinko) was a joke and very dissapointed... two shots in the chest and hes dead... the game was great but as soon as i finished it i didnt want to touch it again... if i want a game thats so real it takes two bullets to kill the bosses i'll just go out in my real world... if i wanna play an awesome game with action packed fighting scenes and awesome cutscenes that makes hollywood movies seem like childs play then i play Metal Gear Solid... kojima + miyamoto... best story + best engine... and a gamecube thats soo cheap these days... can you go wrong???

It's very clear that this place is filled with fan-boys who don't know what the hell are they talking about cuz they haven't played one game so they critizise it. I think MGS is a classic masterpiece and not just because of the gameplay and graphics, but also because of it's intense and deep story line. When I first heard that there was gunna be a remake of MGS1 I was like "Awsome" cuz I was hoping for a remake of MGS1. As for Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell's director admitted that the Metal Gear series inspired him to make the game. I've played Splinter Cell, enjoied it and finished it, and I can't wait for Pandora Tomorow. Both Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell are exelent games so theres no point in burning Metal Gear cuz you think Splinter Cell is better.

I still prefer the metal gear series than splinter cell. metal gear has great cinema sequence and great story line with spin offs. that is something splinter cell fan boys will never expierience. besides splinter cell is way too realistic. the more realistic a game is, the more harder, frustrating and boring it is.

gamecube, ps2 and xbox are all good but none are as good as the snes.

Splinter cell, metal gear.... well both games r good. for my opinion i pick metal gear beter. true splinter cell has more moves.... but i prefer metal gear beter. snake can hold up enemy's, strangle, throw, shoot codec, stuff enemy in lockers, roll on enemies, and the fact that snake has more gears n can punch-punch-kick its jus awesome. i also like the cutscenes they look nothing like splinter cell. when u shoot a guard in metal gear their movements are realistic, like if u shoot someone in the feet its wounded and they call for backup. unlike splinter cell, makes it look like ur shooting a rock. but i still enjoy the gameplay of splinter cell like hanging split jump. 1/3 of the splinter cell gameplay was adopted from metal gear wich i think it kinda sucks that the fact its kinda uncool for them too copy from metal gear. well my point is splinter cell is good n all but i prefer metal gear. im not saying u should like metal gear, its reli ur opinion

i think all of u game cube loving freaks need to relise that the game cube is crap the controllers are crap and the games are crap. the only desent console to come out is the ps2! all you need to do is look at the sales!!
