NCAA March Madness 2k4 Ships

EA's roll-out of pre-Christmas sports titles continues as they ship NCAA March Madness 2004. The game is an attempt to accurately convey the drama of college basketball by creating a strategic college hoops videogame. NCAA March Madness 2004 is now available in stores under the EA SPORTS brand. One of the top-selling basketball franchises, NCAA March Madness 2004 features EA SPORTS Nation online play for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, authentic scouting reports from top Division I coaches in EA SPORTS Ask The Coach, and an incredibly deep EA SPORTS Dynasty Mode.

Featuring former Syracuse star Carmelo Anthony on its cover, the game storms the court with more than 150 new schools and dynamic college hoops gameplay where players dive on loose balls and apply tough pressure defense to clinch victory for their school. This fast-paced game comes to life with players throwing it down against rival schools and stringing together ankle-breaking moves and sweet crossovers with EA SPORTS Freestyle Control, all in front of the cheerleaders, mascots, and raucous crowds that are unique to college hoops.

Dynasty Mode allows users up to 30 years to build a powerhouse program by recruiting top high school players, training players in the off season, and customizing their non-conference schedule, while EA SPORTS Nation lets players take their game online on the PlayStation 2 console. Featuring an online lobby area where gamers can meet, greet, chat, play head-to-head matches, set up tournaments, and download roster updates.

Developed by EA Canada, NCAA March Madness 2004 is available on the PlayStation 2 console and Xbox from Microsoft. The game has an MSRP of USD 49.95 for both console versions.
