If you missed out on attending last year's celebration of all things Blizzard, Blizzcon, then get yourself ready for some dates in April, as the tickets will be going on sale at very specific times. You'll also need to clear your schedule on the 6th and 7th of November, as that's when the fated event will be taking place in the usual spot in the Anaheim Convention Centre.
"There’s no better way to connect with the ever-expanding Blizzard community than by bringing everyone together at BlizzCon," said Mike Morhaime, co-founder of Blizzard (via PCG). "With more games in development than ever before, we’ll have plenty of exciting updates to share and lots of great eSports competition to look forward to – we can’t wait to see everyone there."
Tickets will be going on sale at 7PM PST on April 15 and 10AM PT on April 19, with a limit on four tickets per household. Each ticket is priced at $199, with a $4 processing fee.
With a ticket, you'll not only get entry but also much of the following:
- Hands-on play time with the latest versions of Blizzard Entertainment games
- Global finals for Blizzard eSports, featuring top pro gamers from around the world
- In-depth discussion panels with Blizzard game developers and artists
- Community contests with great prizes
- Commemorative merchandise based on Blizzard Entertainment’s game universes
However, if that is too rich for your blood or you can't make it to California, there will also be a digital ticket that will let you watch everything online. Pricing for that will be announced soon.
