Smash Bros. pro player lost sponsorship for alleged groping

Professional Super Smash Bros. player, Christian 'Hyuga' Medina, has lost his sponsorship and his pro-team after being accused of groping a fellow Smash Bros player while she slept.

The alleged story was posted up by the lady in question as a Tweet, explaining that Medina was invited into the hotel room where she, her boyfriend and friends were staying, as he was drunk and alone and wandering the hotel. Several hours later she awoke to him rubbing himself on her. When he was told not to and the lady in question even moved beds, Medina did it again and was summarily kicked out of the room and the police called.

Although no statement has been made by Medina yet, the evidence seems stacked against him and professional ties with him have been severed. He has also deleted his Twitter account, as presumably the abuse he was receiving wasn't pleasant.

Kotaku did find a DM that he sent a friend though, claiming to not remember anything from that night, suggesting he was black-out drunk and made a terrible mistake.
