These are video game clouds

While few games manage to be visually stunning in every area, some of them do create some innovative ways to aesthetically represent part of the world. In the case of Horizon: Zero Dawn, it's clouds.

The developers made some really good clouds.

We're not kidding either. That screenshot from the homepage, was of in-game clouds and the video below, is of in-game clouds. They move realistically, reflect light realistically and even form and reshape as clouds do.

There's layers and different types, which all contribute to making a sky that is far more real than your average games. In-fact, if you didn't tell us, we'd probably think they were real.

Horizon: Zero Dawn, is an upcoming action RPG from Guerilla Games, which previously developed the Killzone series. This will be its first RPG and its first new IP in over a decade, which it claims will be a mixup in style between Assassin's Creed and Skyrim.

Players will be tasked with taking on dinosaurs in an open world, which as we know from Ark: Survival Evolved and the long deceased Stomping Land, is a very popular past time for gamers.
