Kingdom Come: Deliverance has three DLC expansions planned

Warhorse's Kingdom Come: Deliverance might not have been the barn burner of a game that some might have expected, offering an expansive, but rather uninteresting world to explore with some broken elements here and there. It's still a beautiful landscape though and has some intriguing first-person melee combat, and now the story is set to be expanded on too, with as many as three new DLC packs planned in the near future, as well as gameplay additions and a new game mode to play with.

"Jesus Chris be praised - your journey is not yet over! Rebuild what was destroyed, equip your Cupid's arrow and aid a friend in "delicate" matters, stand your ground on the battlefield and see things from a whole new perspective. Bohemia awaits you yet again, young knight!" Reads the DLC roadmap's flavor text.

In 2018, Warhorse plans to release From the Ashes, The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon, and Band of Bastards, all new story expansions to the base game. They'll be followed in 2019 by "A Woman's Lot," which will let players take on the role of a female adventurer. These will all be paid for expansions, apart from the last one, which will be free to all early crowd funding backers.

Other free additions coming to the game in 2018 include a new hardcore mode, for those who want a higher level of difficulty in the game. The Tournament system will let brave knights prove themselves on the field of simulated battle, though losing can still mean taking some severe damage. Those will be followed by modding support planned to release in 2019, offering up expansive potential for the game's future as the community aids in expanding its content.

Other content planned throughout the next couple of years includes a new Making of documentary series, and a "Combat Academy," to help players sharpen up their combat skills outside of the main game.
