The Witcher III: Wild Hunt was praised for many aspects of its development, from the graphics, to the gameplay, to the world design, but the soundtrack too helped really set the scene for the epic and sprawling adventure. Although that soundtrack has been available digitally for several years now, bundled with the game on Steam or on other platforms like GoG, CD Projekt Red is now releasing a vinyl version of it.
Although vinyl has long since had its heydey, it's actually seen somewhat of a revival in recent years, actually experiencing growth as people who love the sound and hipsters who want to seem like they do, re-adopt the older technology. Some claim it has a warmer, more pleasing sound than the digital soundtracks so no doubt there will be many audiophiles out there who will be pleased to know that they can now have the same experience with The Witcher III's soundtrack.
Together with @SPACELAB9 we are happy to announce the "ORIGINAL GAME SCORE" double LP!

Created in a partnership with Spacelab9, the standard edition soundtrack comes with two silver vinyl discs and a slip cover with unique and eye-catching artwork inspired by the game. For those willing to spend a little more, there will also be a limited three-disc edition which includes the soundtrack from the Hearts of Stone expansion.
In total, only 500 of these vinyl disc collections will be made, with the standard edition setting you back $30 when it's released on June 2. It's not clear as of yet how much the limited edition will be.
Regardless of which one you opt for though, they're likely to go fast, so make sure you get in there early if you're really keen (thanks PCGN).
