Twitch's biggest streamer, Ninja, is now a Mixer, Microsoft exclusive

One of the largest streamer's on Twitch and one of the most recognizable faces in the Fortnite sphere outside of the professionals, is Tyler "Ninja" Blevins. But both of those claims to fame may be under threat now that he's set to move to an entirely new streaming platform. Mixer is the Microsoft-owned streaming platform that launched in 2016 and that's where you'll be able to find Ninja and his content exclusively from now on.

"I know this may come as a shock to many of you," Blevins said during a faux-press conference video "but, as of today, I will be streaming exclusively on Mixer."

In the mock Q&A he fielded questions about his gaming ability being affected, or whether his play style would change, but ultimately, we're told, it will be just business as usual. He'll just be making video streams somewhere else.

This makes Ninja a Microsoft exclusive streamer at this time, a major blow for Amazon's Twitch platform and a suggestion that grabbing hold of top streaming talent could be the way for some upstarts and competitors to the Twitch/YouTube paradigm to compete.
