Use stationary zombies as walls to lead running zombies into.
Best you can put with boss zombies is to speed up as much as you can to put some distance between you, then fire everything you've got. Then repeat.
Always pick up supplies and keep a close eye on the infinite ammo power-up it's way to easy to waste your own bullets fast.
